Work Continues at Harrison Square
Branson and Hannah Sanders laid a good foundation in their work at Harrison Square apartments, but God called them away to pursue other ministry. However, God is faithful and almost immediately, He called Jack and Amy Bentley to fill the role. Jack and Amy are members at Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church, but Jack has felt a calling to ministry for some time.
"I always knew that God was calling me, but I kept running from Him. I just got tired of running," says Jack.
Beginning in June, Jack, Amy, and their four year old son, Nicolas, have been doing a summer program at Harrison Square as well as a Sunday morning service. They have had a good turnout during the weekday activities, but they are still running low on Sunday mornings. However, they are undeterred in their effort to reach the community.
As the school year begins, they are commited to doing an afterschool program twice a week with the help of students from North Georgia College and Truett-McConnell College. They also will continue to be there on Sunday mornings. Pray for them as they are obedient to God's call in their lives.
